    At Noon.
    Celebrate Syttende Mai twice this year. Once at noon on the 17th when several children led by Mary Elworthy will march to the front lawn of the Ager Museum. They’ll sing the Norwegian national anthem—in Norwegian: “Ja, vi elsker . . . “ Stay for some cake and coffee.

    Then in the late afternoon, attend the annual Syttende Mai banquet and program sponsored by Norden Folk, Sons of Norway, and the Waldemar Ager Association.

    Doors Open at 5: Check out the silent auction. Bring your checkbook. Dinner at about 6:00. Program at about 7:15: Pastor Gran Aaseng tells all about his experience on Norwegian TV reality show “Alt for Norge.”
