Inga Ager Dies

Inga Pederson Ager, 100, died on April 10, 2007, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born on July 4, 1906, in Running Valley, Chippewa County to Helga (Ludvigson) and Andrew Pederson.

As a young woman, Inga Pederson came to Eau Claire to work and met Eyvind B. Ager, son of Waldemar and Gurolle Ager, at the Vikings Lodge. They were married in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on August 18, 1927.

The lived in Eau Claire, Milwaukee, and Chippewa Falls through the years. For 83 years, Mrs. Ager was an active member of the Sons of Norway. She was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls and a member of the Ager Association. She is survived by her daughter, Borgny, of Chippewa Falls; two sons, Waldemar of Chetek, and Frederik Arlington, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eyvind, in 1998, and one son, Roald, in 1969. A funeral service was held at Christ Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls on April 16, 2007. Inga Pederson Ager is buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
